The Tamworth Street Fair returns to Main Street again this year. Any Tamworth resident who has a product to sell, a story to tell, can get a 10 x 10 booth at no cost. It's a great opportunity to see what your neighbors have to offer, and there will be music, food, live performances and WMWV will be broadcasting live. We hope to see you there!

Save the date! The Tamworth Visitors Bureau, in cooperation with the TEDC, will once again be transforming Tamworth;s historic community into an outdoor painting studio with a vision of becoming one of the East Coast’s most prestigious plein air art events, WET PAINT.
This event showcases some of nation’s top plein air landscape painters alongside emerging artists. Painters will participate in a 6 day plein air celebration that includes public paint-outs, complimentary daily receptions, painting demonstrations, educational events and numerous activities at participating local businesses.

These days, a website is one of the most important marketing tools for a business, with potential customers increasingly seeking out information on Google and other search engines, you need to be online. You'll learn the basics of creating a website, on one of the many new platforms that don't require any coding no html knowledge. You'll also learn how to improve your visibility so people find you, known as Search Engine Optimization. The class will be taught by Carl Tyler.
Are you baffled by Excel? Join the club! Here's an opportunity to learn the basics, and soon you'll be creating spread sheets like an MBA. This class is for beginners, and if there is interest, we will make future workshops available to really dig down into the intricacies of this popular Microsoft accounting software. Taught by Kathy Estabrook.
Chocorua Community Association is once again sponsoring the Tamworth Candidate's Night, for our town elections. The evening will be moderated by George Cleveland, and will give voters a chance to ask questions and listen to what the candidates in the contested races for Select Board and Treasurer, as well as hear what the unopposed candidates have to offer.
Instagram has become THE social media platform, and your business needs to be there. An image-driven format, you'll learn how to set up an account, develop a following, and the best ways and times to post. On November 9, at 6PM, the Tamworth Economic Development Commission invites you to an informational Gala at the Tamworth Town House to kick off an exciting Tech Forum series! Free of charge, this series is for businesses to improve their marketing efforts and for interested individuals, also, as they all learn to maneuver their way through the introductory level programs.
Monthly sessions will include Facebook, Instagram, Excel, and Website Design and they will be held at the Cook Library starting in January.
