Tamworth's Third Annual Street Fair

  • Main St Tamworth NH 03886 (map)

Come to our HUGE 3rd Annual STREET FAIR on Main Street in Tamworth on Saturday, August 4th to celebrate the many businesses and organizations of Tamworth! This exciting event is proudly hosted by the Tamworth Economic Development Commission.
Be sure to stop by the famous Tamworth Farmer's Market and then begin to follow the iconic red balloons appearing along Main Street where more than fifty businesses and organizations will have a wonderful array of their products for sale ..... from exquisite jewelry and metal crafts to glassworks, photography, wood carvings and many, many other delightful items. Learn about boat building from a pro and visit our kids area for face painting and fun games. You’ll find enticing food at Cheese Louise, several barbecue stands, pizza sites and even popcorn and ice cream, too! Along the way, enjoy great music from lively ensembles as well as from the special live WMWV broadcast van.

Special events to note:
From 9-9:15AM, when Main Street closes, there will be 3 fast?! races of kids, people pushing decorated walkers, and people being pulled by their dogs!.... all participating in the Tamworth Nurses’ first ever “Move It” .5 Mile Race” from Gregg’s Way to the Tamworth Congregational Church.

At 11:00 a.m. in front of the Cook Memorial Library, Bryson Lang will perform his family-friendly Comedy-Juggling show. Bryson uses ball-spinning, flying sombreros, giant bouncing rings, object manipulation, original comedy and audience participation to create a unique and visual entertainment experience.

In other words, come partake of a variety of food offerings ranging from Cheese Louise to barbecues and pizza, toe tapping music and even kids face painting and games. Come plan on having a really great time at the Tamworth Street Fair starting at 9 AM Saturday, August 4th! Some sections of Main Street will be closed to traffic but special parking has been arranged for this event.

We are most grateful to our generous Contributors: the Remick Museum, Barnstormers Theatre, the Chocorua Lake Conservancy and the Tamworth Visitors Council.
